“Surprise! is a story about friendship and the lengths friends are willing to go for the people they care about even when things don’t go according to plan. This film also features an interesting take on perspective and how it can change dramatically for each person. Surprise! uses the drastic change by shifting the tone from horror vibes to comedic ones. The element of suspense creates a heightened scenario of the mundane life of people in their 20s.”
